This is a very touching beautiful story & journey that your whole family went through. I''m sure this has helped others. Thank you for sharing. I know how difficult it is to loose a child... it was wonderful you all were able to meet him.

What a beautiful website! We are 26 weeks pregnant with our daughter Hannah who also has anencephaly. Your website has encouraged me to take as many photos and make as many memories as we can over the next few months. Dylan is a very lucky boy to have such wonderful and loving parents! Thank you for sharing!

I just want to leave a little greeting from Germany...
Our little daughter Valentina had Anencephaly, too. She was born on January 11 and we were blessed with 35 hours together, before she had her birthday in heaven. Now I guess she knows Dylan already. But I just found your webpage now...

I will come back. Thank you for sharing your story! Dylan is reaching out for Europe:-)!

Dear Luciana and Jon,
I am a friend of Marylou''s and want to share my perspective with you. Both of you showed God''s unconditional love as parents these past nine months, growing in love that the world cannot understand because you already believed in Dylan and his purpose. You showed him love with your hormones which bathed him, as well as your touch and your music which showed him the life of man''s senses. I look at both of you as living in the present moment, as God does, becoming the loving parents of a baby as real as anyone''s baby. You accepted God''s grace and power as did the Blessed Mother whose FIAT was first uttered to the angel, Gabriel, and continued at each step of her life. You both are what Caryll Houselander calls "The Reed of God" letting God "empty" you like a reed so that He may be the piper''s breath, and you may take part of the everlasting song of life, bringing in beauty. Looking at your faces, there is no doubt that Eternal Love guided Dylan''s conception for two special parents.
May God continue to bless both of you.....

Jonathan & Lu, I can''t wait to get to Heaven so I can see Dylan giggle when I tell him about his Daddy sticking his tongue to a sign post in the middle of winter! We may be far away and we haven''t talked in years but Slim and I have kept your family in our prayers. We will have a Mass said for Dylan at our parish. May you find comfort through the Immaculate Heart of Mary. God bless you. love, Slim and Marylou

Dear Jon and Luciana,
You are in my thoughts and prayers and in my heart.
I know now what I saw in the two of you at the hospital.
You have the peace that passes understanding.
I am so thankful to have been able to see you and to meet baby Dylan on the day he was born.
I could see him in my mind''s eye, how sweet he looked as Lu held him.
Thank you for telling Dylan''s story and for posting his picture.
You are precious and so is your son.

I love you.

Jon and Lu,
What a beautiful website, and what a wonderful nine months of life you gave to precious Dylan. (I love how you shared so much music with him, Jon!) You have the assurance and blessed hope that your little boy is absolutely perfect and happy now, and I know that you cling to God''s promise that you will all be reunited again. May God richly bless you and your families, and use you to help others who will also be called to walk the difficult path you have traveled. I continue to pray for you as you heal and as you miss little Dylan.
With much love, Sylvia Bayer
